Ans.1(a), A novel single-strain Oral Cholera Vaccine (OCV) has been launched by the Bharat Biotech International Limited (BBIL) in Hyderabad. The vaccine named, HILLCHOL® was developed under license from Hilleman Laboratories

Ans.2(b), Jay Shah, the current honorary secretary of the BCCI, has been elected unopposed as the Independent Chair of the ICC. Shah was the sole nominee for the chairmanship. He will assume his position on 1st December this year.

Ans.3(d), India’s first civilian astronaut Captain Gopichand Thotakura  called on Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar in New Delhi. Mr Gopichand explored space as part of the New Shepard-25 mission by space company Blue Origin.
